Combat & orders
Roles, terrain and stance shape the fight.
Units attack nearby threatening enemy troops before continuing a city attack. Units with fists, claws or other contact weapons close to melee range; visible guns and other ranged weapons keep their distance; artillery outranges most troops and damages clustered enemies. Hold prevents response movement while allowing nearby fire. Auto-defend responds to enemies near allies and reported city attacks. Movement orders take priority. Every skin uses the same ground routes; even dragons cannot fly over barriers.
