Hives have all five roles in four-body broods, half health, 75% melee damage and 30% faster movement per body, permanent rivalry, village consumption and no unrest. Machines have triple health and damage; fourfold price, crew and practice work, with smaller budget-adjusted starting friendship squads. Picture cards take priority over the optional society choice; more societies may be added.
